Summers in Capitol Reef Country are relatively cool, especially on Boulder or Thousand Lake Mountains. These 2 ranges offer lush green mountain experiences with peaks of over 11,000 feet as well a number of great fishing areas. If you prefer, a desert hike is always fun, but take plenty of water no matter what.
